The Chamber of Commerce’s Flag Etiquette webpage offers not only flag etiquette, but it also offers history of the flag, patriotic writings, information on how to display flags, responses to frequently asked questions.
Robert's Rules of Order
- The Robert’s Rules of Order is a guide designed to aid used to conduct orderly meetings. The website answers many questions in the Q & A section, and also offers resources and a link to purchase Roberts Rules books.
United States Postal Service - Passports
The USPS Passports webpage offers information on the submittal of passport applications. For those renewing, there is an online option for those that are eligible and a by-mail option; in-person renewal is not allowed. First-timers and minors must apply in person, but appointments can be made online for submittal at many locations – some even offer photo services.
Wisconsin State Law Library
The Wisconsin State Law Library serves by providing legal information to the State of Wisconsin, attorneys, and the public by providing equal access to the Law. The State Law Library also provides links to local law information on their Ordinances and Codes page and offers information on Open Meetings Law Compliance, amongst many other law-related resources.
League of Wisconsin Municipalities
- The League of Wisconsin Municipalities (LWM) came into existence over 100 years ago to share information and training for elected and appointed officials of Wisconsin cities and villages and also to advocate on their behalf to the Wisconsin Legislature, Governor, and other state agencies.
- The Wisconsin Towns Association (WTA) is a statewide association for town and villages. The WTA is a great learning resource for Wisconsin’s smaller municipalities, and they are also involved in advocating on behalf of the towns and villages to the Wisconsin Legislature, Governor, and other state agencies.
