Editor and 2nd Vice President Vikki Zuehlke announces that the April 2011 WMCA Quill newsletter is ready to read.

Check out the latest message from the WMCA President Diane Hermann-Brown and find out what has been happening in the WMCA.  Don't miss the article on all the work that the Elections Communication Committee and several WMCA clerk members have been able to accomplish in the last few months regarding the various Bills pertaining to the Voter ID Bill since January.

It is time to think about running for a WMCA office for the 2011-2012 season that begins at the August Conference.  The Lifetime Achievement Committee is also looking for candidates for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for 2011.  The completed nomination packet must be received by the WMCA Coordinator no later than June 14, 2011.  See the article in the Quill for details and check out the application on the website at:  http://wisclerks.org/about/programs/

Download the April Quill now and read the story about the Municipal Clerks Week and the Proclamation on page 10 of the newsletter.

You might be looking for the registration forms for the WMCA's 31st Annual Conference that will be at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells this August.  They are not in this edition of The Quill.  With the expansion of the conference this year, there will be a separate Conference Brochure coming out soon.  Watch your email and this website in the next couple of weeks.

Take a minute and check out the full April 2011 Quill newsletter.
