City of Mayville is hiring a Deputy Clerk

Responsibilities include: processing accounts payable, mail distribution, word processing, directing calls and inquiries, cash receipting, election duties, tax collection, licensing, permits, administering oaths, accounts receivable, new hire processing, maintaining parcel folders, administering City garbage contract, processing special assessment requests, tracking EMS billing and collections, programing the city cable channel and updating the City of Mayville website & Facebook. This position is also responsible to perform the duties of the City Clerk and Treasurer in their absence. Position Requirements: High School graduation plus the equivalent of two years of advanced education in clerical, computer science and/or accounting. Banking or cash handling experience preferred. Municipal government experience a plus.
