Board of Review Training is available

30th March 2012

WMCA

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue has certified eight of your fellow WMCA members to be Board of Review Trainers.  They have been certified to furnish the required training to your board of review members.  Remember, one member of your Board of Review must within two years of the board’s “two hour” meeting have attended a training session under Sec. 73.03(55) of Wisconsin Statutes.
At this point in time classes have been set in Dane, Monroe, Portage, Outagamie, Barron and Vilas Counties.  You can check out the dates, times and locations of the WMCA sponsored classes on our website.  Click on “Education/Training”, then “Other Education Opportunities” to find the tab for Board of Review, or you can follow this link:  http://wisclerks.org/education-training/training1/
It has been a challenge for our volunteers to find the time between elections to teach a class this spring.  Therefore, if we are not providing a class that fits your schedule, you can check out the other training opportunities available through the Department of Revenue on their Board of Review training page at:  http://www.revenue.wi.gov/training/bortrain.html.
If you have any further questions or problems with registration, please contact the WMCA office at coordinator@wisclerks.org or call 920-568-9278.
